ABOUT ME & OUR CRAZY HOUSEHOLD
Welcome, please come to our crowded home! My name is Catalina Tre. I’m the sole author and publisher of 3CatsFoodie.com.
Our crazy crowded household comprises my husband (Tomasi) my younger sister (Nara) my toddler (Kai) and two furry demanding kitties. We’re from Australia and we live in a friendly suburb near the beach here in Sydney.
My goal is to provide recipes that are creative, delicious and easy to follow. Recipes that my family loves to eat or that are close to my heart. I hope you find lots of cooking inspiration on here!
You also find that I love sharing stories behind my food and stories of our everyday life! These days many recipe blogs are so upbeat that I feel it takes out the human aspect. We have feelings and not every day is going to be a good day! I promised myself that once I’ve created this blog, I would always be true to myself and to my readers.
There are also random posts on products, travel, life experiences, parenting and CATS!
My not so unique story goes like this:
In my twenties, I worked for a global finance giant and had crazy career ambitions. It felt exciting to climb the corporate ladder, but as I got older it got less exciting. By the time I was in my thirties, I was over it. I was very fortunate. I had fancy job titles, felt accomplished BUT I never loved what I did. So, I took a leap of faith and resigned from my job.
No, I didn’t quit my job thinking I could sustain a career as a blogger. My main reason for leaving my job was to focus on starting a family. We now have our naughty toddler, Kai, and hopefully, we can expand our crazy family soon.
Starting a personal blog had always been in the back of my mind. I was thinking of starting one the technical aspect of it turned a while back off. When I was pregnant, I had time to learn and teach myself how to create my site. I’m really proud of what I have achieved but I have much more to learn so please bear with me!
Get ready for our crazy clan
Building this blog from scratch is a personal challenge for me, it keeps my mind active and allows me to release my passion and creativity through writing and recipes.
My primary goal is to:-
– Create recipes that are simple to follow and work for my readers on their first attempt.
– Deliver light entertainment and being informative.
– Have loads of fun

My passion for cooking
Cooking is my favourite hobby and a passion of mine since I was a small child. I have boxes of recipes that I have collected since I was a child, some from magazines, cookbooks and handwritten recipes from family and friends.
I am a home cook but had hospitality experience in high school and with the casual jobs I had when I was younger.
As much as I love cooking, I love eating more. I am obsessed with travelling and learning new cuisines from all over the world and I adore discovering new recipes and creating my own.
Before a recipe makes it here, my family and friends must love and approve it, so it’s likely that you would too!
